- Horizontal (X) Position Box
- The Horizontal Position Box consists of a text box that allows
- you to change the horizontal position of an active object.
- When any item except for a line is active, the box value is the
- horizontal coordinate of the item frame origin, which is located in the
- left top corner of the unrotated object.
- When the line is active, the box value represents the horizontal
- coordinate of the start point of the line. (the start and end points are
- defined at the moment of a line creation ).
- To change the horizontal coordinate of an item: Click on the
- Horizontal Position Box. When the text insertion point appears
- enter the desired value in it, then preÔ£øn or Enter.
- The measurement units are those specified through the
- Ruler Settings menu entry (Edit Menu) or directly by clicking on
- the lines intersection in the left top corner of the document window
- while the Option key is pressed down. When rulers have different
- settings, the units for display in the Horizontal Position Box
- are Inches.
- With the Zoom Tool selected, the value in the box represents the
- horizontal coordinate of the center of the Zoom area.
